The problem or need that prompted this project.
Vehicle inspections still rely on paper forms and separate notes, so results differ between branches and are hard to review later.
What we built
The solution we built to meet that need.
A web-based inspection application with these features:
- Video recording per inspection item, merged and compressed automatically
- Plate number and VIN reading from images (OCR)
- Review by a Service Advisor before the offer is sent
- Offers sent to the customer through a single link
- Data separated per dealer, with admin, manager, SA and technician roles
How it is used

Technician records
Each inspection is recorded in several takes directly on the device.

Advisor reviews
The Service Advisor checks the results and prepares the offer.

Customer receives
The offer is sent through a link the customer can open.
Outcomes

- Inspection results are stored as video per vehicle.
- Each dealer’s data is separate and cannot be accessed by other dealers.
- Supports many branches within a group and dealer structure.
- The plate reading engine can be switched from the admin panel.
