An online ticketing platform for travel, shuttle and bus operators in Indonesia.
Where things stood
The problem or need that prompted this project.
Small operators take bookings over WhatsApp, so seat availability is answered one message at a time and seats can be sold twice.
What we built
The solution we built to meet that need.
A SaaS application with these features:
- Seat maps designed by the operator, with a price per seat
- Passengers book without installing an app or creating an account
- Payment through the operator’s own Midtrans account, so funds never pass through the platform
- E-tickets with a QR code and fleet tracking on a map
- A driver app (PWA) to scan tickets and share location
- Platform admin panel: fee plans, monthly invoices and account suspension

The operator sets up the fleet
Seat maps, prices, routes and schedules are set up in the dashboard.
- 02
The passenger books
Choose a schedule and a seat, then pay through Midtrans.
- 03
The driver scans the ticket
The e-ticket is scanned with the camera and the trip status is updated.
Outcomes
What can be described and verified from this project.
- A seat is claimed in a single transaction, so it cannot be sold twice.
- Payments are verified through the webhook signature and re-checked with Midtrans.
- The operator’s payment keys are stored encrypted.
- Changing a seat map does not break existing bookings.
